Minecraft Server: Connection Details

Nathanael's Paper Server. Survival. Java and Bedrock crossplay.

Whitelist

The server is whitelisted. Send Nate your exact Minecraft username (Java) or Xbox gamertag (Bedrock) to be added before your first join.

Java Edition (PC / Mac)

  1. Multiplayer, then Add Server.
  2. Server Address: minecraft.laethan.com
  3. No port is needed.

Bedrock (Windows, phone, tablet)

  1. Play, then Servers, then Add Server.
  2. Address: bedrock.laethan.com
  3. Port: 9246

Xbox

  1. Settings, then General, then Network settings, then Advanced settings, then DNS settings, then Manual.
  2. Primary DNS: 104.238.130.180. Secondary DNS: 8.8.8.8.
  3. Open Minecraft: Play, then Servers, then join The Hive (Mineville, Lifeboat, Galaxite, and Enchanted Dragons also work).
  4. In the BedrockConnect menu, choose Connect to a Server.
  5. Address: bedrock.laethan.com. Port: 9246. Turn on Add to Server List.

To undo the DNS change, set DNS settings back to Automatic.

PlayStation

  1. Settings, then Network, then Settings, then Set Up Internet Connection.
  2. Select your connection, then Advanced Settings, then DNS Settings, then Manual.
  3. Primary DNS: 45.55.68.52. Secondary DNS: 8.8.8.8.
  4. Open Minecraft: Play, then Servers, then join The Hive (Mineville, Lifeboat, Galaxite, and Enchanted Dragons also work).
  5. In the BedrockConnect menu, choose Connect to a Server.
  6. Address: bedrock.laethan.com. Port: 9246. Turn on Add to Server List.

To undo the DNS change, set DNS settings back to Automatic.

Xbox and PlayStation alternative: BedrockTogether app

  1. Put your phone and console on the same Wi-Fi network.
  2. In the BedrockTogether app, enter Address 216.225.145.28 and Port 9246, then tap Run.
  3. On the console: Play, then Friends, then join the server under LAN Games.
  4. Keep the app running while you play.
